Job Description:

The Key Account Executive will build a sustainable base of business that meets and exceeds revenue and objectives for agreed-upon accounts in their assigned territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Heavy emphasis on net new business and creating retention business. S/he will be building a brand-new territory.

  • S/he will travel to customers frequently during the day and will come to the office to attend meetings as business requires.

  • Proactively research, qualify and cultivate new leads within the target market utilizing ZoomInfo, inbound leads, etc.

  • Ideal Customer Title: Plant Manager up to C-Suite

Compensation & Benefits:


  • Base = $85k

  • Commission (a few examples of commission opportunities provided below): approx. $60k+

  • Class 1 – 3: 35% of gross profit

  • Class 4: 20% of gross profit

  • Class V: 20% of gross profit

  • Used equipment: 4%

  • Heavy truck commission: 7%

  • Rentals: 3%

  • Contract maintenance: $300 per truck

  • New trucks = $150 per truck

  • Uncapped commission

  • 1st year OTE = $150k – 200k

  • 2nd year OTE = $200k

  • Auto & toll tag allowance = $400/monthly

  • Fuel reimbursement (IRS recorded miles)
