Our client is the premier engineering inspection services and construction materials testing 
company in the NY Metro Area. We are a minority woman owned business enterprise 
(MWBE) providing a variety of services for inspection, testing, failure analysis, 
engineering, and research of materials. As an independent commercial inspection and 
testing agency, they provide comprehensive Special Inspections, Construction 
Material Testing, Engineering Laboratory Services, and Non-Destructive Testing to our 
clients. 

Territory: South Plainfield, NJ 

Job Description: Senior Account Executive 

The Senior Account Executive is a senior sales and business development 
associate who serves as the primary relationship owner for an assigned group of 
accounts with responsibility for retention and growth. These accounts are largely 
general contractors, and include other sub- contractors across disciplines within the 
general construction industry. This position reports dually to the VP of Sales and the 
President of the company. 

Expectations/Responsibilities: 

  • Visit clients at their offices and in other offsite locations around the tri-state 
    area. Also, it can be via phone and video conference although this is slowing 
    down. 
  • Attend weekly sales meetings at AEIS and keep the company abreast of your 
    weekly activities, news on projects, and issues both positive and needing 
    attention with our customers 
  • Oversee the development of RFP responses, proposals, and other customers communications 
  • Attend networking events, marketing events, and other gatherings to promote the 
    brand and services 

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Have a working knowledge of the large-scale construction industry. Knowledge 
    of the key players in the industry. 
  • Ability and experience selling to all levels within the organization including 
    C-Suite level 
  • Experience managing and directing the entire sales cycle from beginning to close 
  • Proven record of accomplishment of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned goals and 
    targets 
  • be strategic in finding new business using technical knowledge and skillset
